Karla Reichert, MPA, is the Director of Evaluation and Strategic Initiatives at Special School District of St. Louis County. Her role supports student success by advancing districtwide initiatives through systems-level planning, facilitation, and coaching support on applying evaluative principles and embedding equity considerations in executive leaders’ action plans and progress monitoring. She has championed the collaborative development of the special education district’s 5-year continuous improvement plan, which received exemplar status from Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Karla began her career in evaluation with the Canadian federal government, conducting evaluations for a diverse range of programs funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, Health Canada, and Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada. She is particularly passionate about using evaluation as a tool to surface and address inequities.

She has been a member of the EASL Board since 2023 and currently serves as the vice president.
