Please join co-hosts, the Evaluation Association of St. Louis (EASL) and Data for Social Impact (DSI), for this interactive session offering a candid, hands-on introduction to AI tools for researchers, evaluators, and social sector professionals. We’ll explore what today’s tools can realistically do, from summarizing data to generating visuals, and where they still fall short. Along the way, we’ll talk openly about ethical considerations, including data privacy, transparency, and how to avoid common missteps.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to integrate AI into your work without compromising on values, and we’ll even take a tool or two for a spin together (no tech background required). Whether you’re optimistic, skeptical, or just curious, this session will help you move from questions to practical insights.
